FAF: 5 LBS ~ That's a small sack of potatoes people! :o)






Starting weight: 166.4
Last week's weight: 162.8
Current weight: 161.4
Weight +GAIN / -LOSS this week: -1.4
Total weight lost: -5

I've lost 5 whole pounds!! Yay me! 21.4 to go!!

I can't feel super excited about my continued 1-lb-a-week weight loss because I only worked out once this week and have a sneaking suspision I'm only losing muscle mass instead of actual fattyness...but I'm not going to dwell on that thought because...I'VE LOST 5 POUNDS :o)

Still cutting the portions sizes though and I now feel like major poo whenever I eat a normal sized meal so I think that means my stomach is finally shrinking [yay!!].

I've been taking my thyroid meds like I'm supposed to but a friend told me it takes 4-6 weeks to really tell a difference so, we'll see in a few more weeks!

I pinned this and put it under "Must Try" because seriously -- her hair looks SO CUTE and I want my hair to look like this:

And I can TOTALLY do that ya'll. So, I tried it.

Step 1: Start with wet hair. Me post workout shower [disregard the red face -- I look like my blood pressure is that of a 300 lb man in his late 40s really high after a run] with wet hair.


Step 2: Put mousse in hair, tie hair up in paper towel "curlers" rrrrreeeeaaaalllly tight. Sleep uncomfortably on back all night because said paper towel curlers are too tight. Wake up the next morning really excited -- you gonna be FABULOUS dah-ling [or so I thought].
I know I don't look excited but this is at 5:30 in the morning -- this is as excited as it gets.
Step 3: Take "curlers" out of hair and FREAK THE F OUT when you realize the curls are WWW***AAA***YYY too tight...
Ok...um...that worked a little TOO well. Maybe I need to just run my fingers through it. Yeah, I'll run my fingers …

Mudfest 2010

Welp, we knew Rockfest was going to be interesting this year because of all the rain we've been getting. We knew it was going to be a muddy mess, hence the rain boots purchase. What we didn't totally prepare for was the drizzly rainy 50 degree weather to go along with the mud. So, it kind of sucked.... BUT, we made the best of it and had a good time laughing at all the tweekers and drunk @sses falling all over themselves in the mud. Good Times!


I got to see the one band I was really pumped for - HALESTORM!
I have a girl crush on Lzzy Hale and she did NOT let me down with the hotness either!! Her brother RJ (who is the drummer) was pretty freaking yummy too.

The rain was going as soon as we got there, but it let up off and on throughout the afternoon. My rain boots were the best thing ever invented and worth every penny of the $17 I spent on them!
