Happy Halloween 2015

I was up all night the night before (till 4am to be exact) doing the boys' costumes. Nothing like waiting till the last minute. Meh.
I drew and cut out all the bones for Braz skeleton from faux leather-ish material and put mesh webbing on the back to iron them into his black pants and shirt. That took most of the night to do.
Beckett's leather SOA cut, I was trying to cut the vest out in one piece but it just wasn't working so I ended up hand sewing the back and front pieces together instead which probably turned out 10x better than it would have anyway. I used one of Beckett's shirts for sizing and such. I drew the patches on the white material I bought and then colored them in with black fabric marker. All by hand from a pic of Jax Teller I had (swoon). I cut them out and added the iron on webbing and stuck them on the vest. I ironed them all together the next morning and prayed everything fit and all the bones were in the appropriate places. Luckily everything worked out perfectly. Whew!
Brazos had a friend's costume/bowling birthday party in the afternoon at Grand Station so we loaded up as a family and went to do that. Only Braz dressed up of course because we knew Beckett's time in his costume would be limited due to his 2-year old tolerance level.
Hudson wore his skull sleeper though which looked pretty cool in the cosmo bowl black lights.

Ready to bowl!

Daddy and Beckett dancing

Silly Mommy

Eating pizza

Birthday crew with Grand Station bear

Awesome birthday cake

Sleepy little glow worm

Big kid

Arcade time to finish the party.

After the party, we all went home and took a family nap. We got all dressed up and headed out to a church carnival and met up with our friends.
Jax Teller with a bink. Hard core.

Little babystein.

Boys had a blast at the carnival. I didn't get any pics some how. Haha! After the carnival, we left to go to a neighborhood to trick or treat. Braz rode with our friends and their kids, who had to do some shuffling around of kids with other parents (yours, mine, ours situation) so we got to take Hudson and Beckett to a couple houses without the big kids for a few minutes.
Babystein chillin in his stroller.

Happy Halloweeeen!

Trick-or-Treat!

There was an actual officer having some fun with official police tape and chaulk outlines of a "dead" Buddy the Elf.

Braz waiting on a balloon animal.

He loved it!!

Our friends niece was dressed up as the bride of Frankenstein so of course we HAD to get pics. So adorable.

Too much cuteness and what are the odds?!

I was digging in Beckett's candy and found this... Christmas comes earlier and earlier!! O.o

Halloween 2015 in the books and it was a GREAT one!

Jason's Graduation: Part I

We drove to KC a couple days before Jason's graduation (Wed) since we had Jason's presidents dinner the night before. I love the big windmills in Oklahoma.  We made it into KC fairly late and got to our hotel The Great Wolf Lodge. The keys weren't in the packet when we got up to the room so daddy ran back down to get them while we waited in the hall. Brazos looks way too old throwin up the dueces in this pic... Daddy and Brazos trying on their wolf ears.  Brudders Hudson was very happy to be free of his car seat! Daddy took the boys to check out the hotel and get some energy out before bed while Hudson and I settled in. Everything was decorated for Christmas and was so beautiful! The next day I went into the office to work so daddy was at the hotel with the boys for the day, waiting on Mimi and Popo. They went to the restaurant downstairs for breakfast.  Probably the sweetest picture of those wolf ears you'll ever see in your life. <3 Thursday night, Jason and I went...

FAF: Another 1 Bites the Dust!

Starting weight: 166.4 Last week's weight: 163.8 Current weight: 162.8 Weight +GAIN / -LOSS this week: -1.0 Total weight lost: -3.6 Another week of weight loss! Whoop! Its not much but after another slow exercising week, I'll GLADLY take it! I'm very close [again] to what I weighed when I got knocked up with my pwecious little man so I'm feeling good about that fo' sho'... Working out this week has been rough. I haven't really made/had time for a good solid workout so I'm a little disappointed about that but...eh, I'll just keep squeezing them in there whenever I can and as much as I can. We have a gym membership over by my usual sitter so once she's off maternity leave, I'll be able to run to the gym at night before or after I pick up the monster. My diet this week has been unhealthy - not in what I've eaten, just the quantity. I've hardly eaten a thing! My dinner portions have been cut in half, if not more, so I feel that's a po...

Jason's Graduation: Part II

Dr. Allen, DC 4/5 of our marriage has been spent working towards this day. To say we are excited would be a great understatement. I can't even put into words how excited/happy/scared/proud/relieved, etc, etc, etc we are. There just are no words. Jason has worked tirelessly towards this goal. Countless hours of studying. Sacrificing time with me and the kids. And all the work he put in advertising and recruiting patients into the clinic. Personal training early mornings and late nights to help makes ends meet.  And I think of all the sacrifice we've made as a family. Living in a townhouse and then a tiny apartment. I've been the primary provider and a mostly single parent during some stages. And a constant cheerleader and standing behind pushing. We've both been pushing uphill for what seems like forever towards this goal. And we've made it. Not to discount his hard work, because he was the one who really accomplished this goal but I like to think we accomplished thi...
