[Im]Patiently Waiting for Baby Allen - 4 weeks to go!

I started out this pregnancy looking like this:

And here I am at [almost] 36 weeks:

Holy crap, I sure hope that tiny tummy comes back to me after this baby is born...and I lose a couple chins...and a couple pounds off the cheeks, both sets. I think I'll leave my hair long though. Not cute in that first picture.

Anywhozit - 4 weeks to go!! Yay, I'm so excited. I had my doc appt and BPP yesterday. Baby didn't want to do his breaths at the BPP so we had to do an NST (Non-Stress Test). Basically, I sat in a big comfy recliner while they hooked the monitors up to my belly and recorded his heartbeat/movements and my contractions. I dozed off a couple times while I was sitting there listening to his heartbeat beep...it was rough. He passed the NST with flying colors - Dr even told me they could use my print out for textbooks because my results were EXACTLY what they should look like. (My child's perfect already - jealous?!) Next week is his growth scan [possibly his last one] to see how big he is, and I'll saddle up on the stir-ups so she can check my cervix. We'll also discuss the delivery plans. Its gonna be a big, exciting day. My blood pressure is still in the normal range - 112/74. No protein in the urine, test they do for some type of bacteria (can't remember what its called) came back negative, and...that's about it. He still looks good and I'm doing good as well. So...we just wait.

I'll do a post later to go over Christmas - we haven't had our Christmas with Jake yet - but it was a great Christmas with my family. Sunday when we got home we worked on the baby's room and we did my belly cast that I won in the MommyLoves giveaway. Here it is so far:

We just got the plaster strips on and had to let it dry for at least a day. Now there's a layer of plaster that goes over it, sanding and another layer of clear stuff to help the paint stick. I haven't completely decided how I'm going to paint it other than it will be baby blue all over and his baby stats will be on it (name, birth date, size, etc.). Jason did all the strips for me, it sucked sitting in the chair for the half hour or so that it took to do it but it was still fun. I think it turned out pretty neat looking! Can't wait to finish it and hang it in his room.

We get Jake tomorrow through the 2nd. We were going to get him today instead but he's sick. Boo. Hoping he gets better by tomorrow and that he doesn't decide to share. We're both very excited for him to get to open his presents from Santa.

I get a four day weekend this weekend that I'm REALLY looking forward too. Also, some friends from TX are coming up to stay the weekend with us. Going to be lots of fun - we may have a house full for New Year's Eve (Danny, Christina, & Lauryn are probably coming down as well)...very much looking forward to spending time with them all.

Lots and lots I need to update on...will be posting a lot in the next couple weeks. Stay tuned.

Ramblings of a Panic Attack

I’m having a panic attack. These stupid meds are killing me. I hate them. Stick with it, stick with it, stick with it. I know it’s the meds. I just have to get through this and relax for a couple weeks. I hate this job. It’s not even that bad it’s just HORRIBLY boring. I don’t want to do this every day. I appreciate learning the process and gaining experience but it’s not what I like to do. I don’t even like accounting that much to begin with but there are aspects I like and I know it. The pay is killing me. I need money. I can’t continue to be completely broke before the first week of the month is over. Collections calls ringing all day. I’m applying to jobs like crazy. I’m trying so hard. I’m just going to keep pushing forward. Keep. Pushing. Forward. I hate that I wanted a life with Jason. That I was too blind to realize what he was. That I was ok with him even from the very beginning when I knew better. Why didn’t I want better things for myself? Seeing him makes me want to vomit.

Tersinar Christmas 2015

After graduation, we raced down to Hepler to spend Christmas with my family and mom and dad's. We ordered chicken for dinner (of course - yum yum!) and we had some of the traditional Christmas goodies too, like pie and Grandma Sonja's cinnamon apples, French cookies and cheese ball.  Hudson made the rounds with everyone :) Uncle Dustin is the best to play with After dinner and some visiting, it was time to open presents! The loot! Kids first of course. The anarchy! Hudson among the shreds of wrapping paper Big kids' turn! Opening my Royals blanket <3 I LOVE IT! Thanks Jen :) I got Grandma's name again :) Hudson helped play Santa Mom loved her gift from Heather - a frame with all our family's pictures in it. Jason's gift from Raymond. The kiddos watched a movie or two after we were finished opening gifts.  Later after everyone left, mom, dad and us siblings (minus josh) played Cards Against Humanity... HILARIOUS. Haven't laughed that hard in a very long ti
