It's Randomly Delicious

So, here's how I've done so far:

1. Wake up at 6:30 every morning. NO SNOOZE BUTTON. Check! Woke up at 6:35 this morning...Felt like I had a LOT of time on my hands!! And my hair and apparel look a little better today too. So, double check!
2. No facebook at work, not even at lunch. And blogger only at lunch to update on my goal(s) status. Fail. Been on it twice. BUT for only a moment or two while waiting on a report to run...better but still not good.
3. DIET - not a strict one but NO snacks in between meals and much smaller portions. Much, much smaller. Again Fail. Had two mini candy bars - why is it that the ONLY person I really sit close to now has a free for all, never ending supply candy bowl. Its a daily test I tell ya...
4. 35 minutes on the stairmaster every night as soon as I get home from work. If I have plans after work, then have to do the stairmaster in the a.m. Any other working out is optional but this is mandatory. Three strikes...Fail. Well last night was a fail anyway. But, I'm meeting J after work to go run in the park. Should be interesting but at least I'm working out.
5. As soon as I get done on the stairmaster, house work for another 30 min. My poor house is in dire need. CHECK! Last night I worked on the house for a good hour.

So, I two out of 5 in the first 24 hours I suppose isn't too terribly awful, but I still can do better. I thought of several other goals I want to make but I'm just going to stick to these for the time being. I can't even get THESE fully accomplished so...baby steps.

Also, since this is Random Tuesday and all, here's a few quick fun things I've got to look forward to in the next few weeks.
*Easter this weekend! So excited that my parents are coming up here to visit us...well, not just me and J, but my brother, sister-in-law, and niece too...well, probably more to see my niece but I like to pretend its all for me :)
*Going to Texas the following weekend for J's best friend's wedding. Taking j and Gemma too. Although all the driving is going to suck, SUCK, S-U-C-K, I'm really excited to see J's parents and go back down to Texas. Kinda liked it there...
*J and I's ONE YEAR ANNA! Can you believe it??!??!?! Coming up in a little over a month. We are getting each other bikes. Score!
*ROCKFEST 2010! Halestorm! Can't wait!!
*MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whoo-to-da-Hoo!!!! Always an important day every year!
*An adult float trip mixed in this summer somewhere...
*Our BIG trip to Texas the middle of July! I'm so pumped!! *CHEESER*

Well, the Big Vaca is still a ways away, but *sniff sniff* can you smell that?? *sniff* Ahhhh....smells like summer time coming around the corner! Love it!

Not bad for the first 24 hours...hang in there...keep your chin up and take one day at a time. It really works!

Copy Cat

I'm contemplating doing a Project 365 blog... Such a cool idea and I think it would be fun to look back and see how my year was in pictures :) And, yes, I'm copying off my sister's 365 blog . Opinions?

Almost Fainted Yesterday - Not. Cool.

Yesterday late morning I was sitting at my desk and I felt...funny. Then the "funny" feeling turned into ears ringing, hot flash, seeing stars, light- headedness . Scared the poo out of me. So I sat at my desk for a good 2 to 3 minutes with my head between my knees - or atleast as close to my knees as I can get right now - trying not to panic and make it worse. I never actually passed out/fainted but got pretty close. The thing that scared me the most though was that NO ONE AROUND ME NOTICED! Not that I wanted all kinds of people flocking over to me to see if I was ok , but would have felt a little better if one person would've atleast thrown me an "are you alright?". I hope I never go into labor at work, good grief. I'll be driving myself to the hospital and two hours later people will be going "Where's D?" That diva moment aside, I finally felt ok to stand up and walk to the breakroom to get a glass of water and then asked my boss to go d

I Found It!

I found the tattoo I want! Besides the one my sister, mom & I are getting... It's a sparrow and I looked up the meaning on the net and I really like the things it symbolizes (although the sailor traveling so many miles symbolism doesn't really fit - maybe some day!). What do ya think?? I love it!!! <3 Update: I was originally thinking of getting this on my ribs but now I'm thinking I may get this on my hip... And I'm probably going to get it pretty big! Whoo-hoo I'm excited!!!
