One Month Old


My baby is one month old... wow, it really does go by so fast!
We had his one month appt and he's 12 lbs, 22 1/2 inches. He's gained 3 lbs since his one week appt. Dr. Boylan says he looks perfect! But of course I already knew that.
We are getting into a sleeping routine. He goes to bed at 11, wakes up between 1:30 am and 2:30 am and then get up again around 4:30 am. Then he sleeps till about 6 or 7. Its not the greatest nights sleep for mommy but he's gone a couple night with a 4 1/2 hour stretch of sleep so I have high hopes for the future.
On 2/15, he surprised mommy and rolled over from his tummy to his back. He did it three more times for daddy about a week later and hasn't done it since but I think we can count it as a milestone reached (very early I might add).
He is starting to smile at us, mostly in the mornings, which melts his mommy into a puddle on the floor. He's making 'coo' and 'aah' sounds - adorable - and likes tummy time so far. He loves to have his feet rubbed/kissed/tickled. Does pretty well with the carseat (most of the time). And does well when we take him out to eat (all but one time). And he is a BIG cuddler - which I love (except when I'm trying to get things done around the house).
All around he is a very good boy who has his mommy wrapped around his little finger!

Jason's Graduation: Part I

We drove to KC a couple days before Jason's graduation (Wed) since we had Jason's presidents dinner the night before. I love the big windmills in Oklahoma.  We made it into KC fairly late and got to our hotel The Great Wolf Lodge. The keys weren't in the packet when we got up to the room so daddy ran back down to get them while we waited in the hall. Brazos looks way too old throwin up the dueces in this pic... Daddy took the boys to check out the hotel and get some energy out before bed while Hudson and I settled in. Everything was decorated for Christmas and was so beautiful! FAF: Another 1 Bites the Dust!

Starting weight: 166.4 Last week's weight: 163.8 Current weight: 162.8 Weight +GAIN / -LOSS this week: -1.0 Total weight lost: -3.6 Another week of weight loss! Whoop! Its not much but after another slow exercising week, I'll GLADLY take it! I'm very close [again] to what I weighed when I got knocked up with my pwecious little man so I'm feeling good about that fo' sho'... Working out this week has been rough. I haven't really made/had time for a good solid workout so I'm a little disappointed about that but...eh, I'll just keep squeezing them in there whenever I can and as much as I can. We have a gym membership over by my usual sitter so once she's off maternity leave, I'll be able to run to the gym at night before or after I pick up the monster.
