Dear Santa,

I miss when I was a little kid and I would sit on Santa's lap or write him a letter and magically some or all of the things on my list would show up under the tree! I stopped sitting on Santa's lap (because it just got kind of weird) and I stopped writing letters and - ugh - the presents stopped coming! So, it's obvious I need to write my Wishlist and send it to Santa...duh.

Here it is:

Dear Santa,

I have been a very good...um, a pretty good...well, ok, I've been a mildly good girl this year. I was nice to my brother and sister MOST of the time and my mom and dad ALL of the time. I went to work every day and worked REAL hard! And I was only a LITTLE mean to the boys...but they deserved it! In exchange for all of my goodiness throughout the year, I would like the following:

*New Coach purse (or Ed Hardy or Gucci - I'm not picky)
*Lots of high heels & boots
*A $5,000 gift card to go clothes shopping (will gladly donate my ENTIRE current wardrobe to charity!)
*2010 Camaro (would prefer black but again, not picky)
*A new BIG apartment/Duplex/House rent free
*A 75% increase in my salary
*A pug puppy (because its a necessity to ask for a puppy on a christmas list)
*Nikon camera
*Watch
*Shoes...more...
*Big flat screen TV
*Sell my old house
*Never to have to pay for GAS again
*Tickets to see WICKED
*Sookie Stackhouse series
*One of everything in Victoria's Secret
*Spa Day - THE WORKS!
*Two months paid vacation from work - starting now

Love,
G

I can list SO many more things, but lets not get greedy! Santa is a busy man!

By the way.... 39 Days Till Christmas!!

Jason's Graduation: Part I

We drove to KC a couple days before Jason's graduation (Wed) since we had Jason's presidents dinner the night before. I love the big windmills in Oklahoma.  We made it into KC fairly late and got to our hotel The Great Wolf Lodge. The keys weren't in the packet when we got up to the room so daddy ran back down to get them while we waited in the hall. Brazos looks way too old throwin up the dueces in this pic... Daddy and Brazos trying on their wolf ears.  Brudders Hudson was very happy to be free of his car seat! Daddy took the boys to check out the hotel and get some energy out before bed while Hudson and I settled in. Everything was decorated for Christmas and was so beautiful! The next day I went into the office to work so daddy was at the hotel with the boys for the day, waiting on Mimi and Popo. They went to the restaurant downstairs for breakfast.  Probably the sweetest picture of those wolf ears you'll ever see in your life. <3 Thursday night, Jason and I went...

FAF: Another 1 Bites the Dust!

Starting weight: 166.4 Last week's weight: 163.8 Current weight: 162.8 Weight +GAIN / -LOSS this week: -1.0 Total weight lost: -3.6 Another week of weight loss! Whoop! Its not much but after another slow exercising week, I'll GLADLY take it! I'm very close [again] to what I weighed when I got knocked up with my pwecious little man so I'm feeling good about that fo' sho'... Working out this week has been rough. I haven't really made/had time for a good solid workout so I'm a little disappointed about that but...eh, I'll just keep squeezing them in there whenever I can and as much as I can. We have a gym membership over by my usual sitter so once she's off maternity leave, I'll be able to run to the gym at night before or after I pick up the monster. My diet this week has been unhealthy - not in what I've eaten, just the quantity. I've hardly eaten a thing! My dinner portions have been cut in half, if not more, so I feel that's a po...

Jason's Graduation: Part II

Dr. Allen, DC 4/5 of our marriage has been spent working towards this day. To say we are excited would be a great understatement. I can't even put into words how excited/happy/scared/proud/relieved, etc, etc, etc we are. There just are no words. Jason has worked tirelessly towards this goal. Countless hours of studying. Sacrificing time with me and the kids. And all the work he put in advertising and recruiting patients into the clinic. Personal training early mornings and late nights to help makes ends meet.  And I think of all the sacrifice we've made as a family. Living in a townhouse and then a tiny apartment. I've been the primary provider and a mostly single parent during some stages. And a constant cheerleader and standing behind pushing. We've both been pushing uphill for what seems like forever towards this goal. And we've made it. Not to discount his hard work, because he was the one who really accomplished this goal but I like to think we accomplished thi...
