23 weeks

Sheesh. I'm totally slacking on this pregnancy and keeping updated on my progress/weekly status.
A lot has happened since 11 weeks so I'll try to give a brief recap. I had my next dr appt at 16 weeks and at the end of the spot I asked Dr Rips if there was anyeay we could find out the sex of the baby before Christmas so we could do a surprise gender reveal for our families. I thought for sure she'd say no because it was still really early. But she said " let me go see if the sonographer is busy.."  And she wasn't and squeezed me in!
It's a BOY! I thought I'd be disappointed but I wasn't at all. There's been a few, I wish I could have a girl moments but I'm pretty much in love with this little guy already so I don't wish he was a girl at all. So I painted an ornament and wrapped it up and let my mom open it at our gift exchange with my side. She was so excited! And everyone was so surprised!!

We played charades at Memaw & Papaws house and Jason acted out "baby boy" and pointed at me. Again, everyone was shocked and excited.
I had my 20 week scan the day after we got home from CHRISTMAS vacation in Texas.
Baby is looking good and growing well. They had some trouble measuring everything with the heart but she says everything they did see looks fine. Another handsome, healthy bouncing baby boy!
As of Wed I was 23 weeks. Feeling good at the moment but started to feel a little puffy. Trying to remember to walk around/stretch my legs often at work and to drink plenty of water.
We moved to the apartment a couple weeks ago and I thought the move might just kill me but I survived and we got everything moved. We got rid of a bunch of stuff and Jason took a trailer load down to Texas for storage. We are getting settled into the new teeny tiny 2 bedroom apartment but we are loving the closer location and schedule. (More on all that in a later post)
All that moving update to say, I'm so busy I've barely noticed I'm pregnant! But that's starting to change. I'm big enough now that it's getting difficult to do everything. And baby boy is getting VERY active.
Last week my co-worker got to feel him move. First person other than me to feel him and first time for her to ever feel a baby move in utero.
I'm up about 15 lbs all together. My blood pressure has remained perfect so far.
Here's a few belly progress pics I've taken so far.
13 week comparison, all 3 pregnancies

14 weeks, bikini bump

15 weeks

19 weeks, Happy New Year!

21 weeks, really feeling him wiggle!
23 weeks and a couple days, as I sit. I need to take a more recent standing belly pic...
I have my next dr appointment next week. Hopefully I will be a little better about posting from here on out!

29 Weeks

Here I am at 29 weeks exactly. I'm at +24 lbs which is a little higher than I would like, but after a week of crappy eating on vacation, I won't complain too much. My blood pressure is good and just got word that I passed my glucose test. Yay! My emotions get the better of me a lot this pregnancy, but I don't know if its all pregnancy related or if some of it is just me trying to work through a lot of emotional issues - either way, trying to hold it together some days has been rough. I just wish I was able to enjoy being pregnant...but alas, its just not meant to be. Trying to enjoy it as much as possible, all the little kicks and wiggles and special time with Beckett. Also, trying very hard to stay focused on eating healthy and walking as much as I can, although, I can't walk far anymore without the belly cramping. Still trying to keep from gaining that 50 lbs like I did last time ;) Beckett is extremely active, and according to the baby center emails I get, he...

Romping In The Bluebonnets

This weekend was our weekend in Texas for J's buddy's wedding. So, J, j, Gemma and myself all loaded up, and we drove down Thursday night (overnight) to BCS to spend some time with J's family too. I, of course, have never been down to Texas in the spring, but the wildflowers are GORGEOUS, especially the bluebonnets. It just looks like they exploded all over the country side! They were everywhere. J's mom wanted us all to take some pictures in the bluebonnets so we drove out to the side of a road in the middle of wherever and took some pics. They turned out great. It was quite entertaining to get the kiddos (J's nieces were there too) to cooperate and the puppy, not to mention J's mom losing her balance to kneel down with her grandbabies . And she had to wrangle all three kids and a puppy to take J & I's pic together...God bless her. It was NOT easy. Ha! The most adorable picture of them all was of my little baby girl: How precious is this picture?...

27 Weeks

Here we all are...me, Baby A, and my squishy puffy cheeks. Fabulous, non?! So, obviously I'm feeling a little less cute these days, not all my weight is in my belly anymore. Eh, I only semi have an issue with it. Its only going to get worse and I should just enjoy this only time in my life where chubby + pot belly = cute. Overall, I'm feeling really good. I've been fighting fatigue off and on again, but nothing like I was during the first trimester. I'm amazed at how fast the second trimester has gone and can't believe this is my last week! I am very ready for #3 although I also know that means I can wave bye-bye to the feeling great and say hello to feeling extra bloated and uncomfortable. The swelling has definitely started. My feet and legs are fat, fat, FAT at the end of the day and I can feel it in my hands a little some days too. The little man is going CRAZY in my belly! I can't tell if he's practicing to become a gymnast or an MMA fighter. He's d...
